major arcana

my child, there is something profoundly wrong with your logic.

or should i say, with the lack of logic you possess.

you failed to recognize that love is a part of human's fallibility, a catalyst of fate, a force to be reckoned with. you let your resolve waver under the most amiss circumstances. and now look at you, an empty shell buried in the ashes of 'i love you to the moon and back'.

look at me. you don't turn your head when The High Priestess is talking to you. the cards are reversed now. a testament of how neglectful you've become when it comes to understanding affections in its objective nature. i know better than to expect your redemption. you're standing on point zero; the beginning of all end. i'll deem you a moron. a foolish soul. i would love to send you to the chasm and hope you'll learn your lesson, but what is a child if not a disappointment? i'm just going to let you sit here for another fifty years, lamenting on things that are gone but never truly left you.

"how can someone be both elegant and dangerous in equal parts. how can someone be both blood and gold? roses and ash?"

oh well, you can ask that to all the stoned lovers who came before you. they all had the same flushed face, the same breathless voice, the same burnt scars from touching what was never meant for them. young and old, i have seen even the wisest of us crumble under my seventh card. again, it's a humane fallibility, but how much blood should be spilled before you call off the troops? how much hearts should the nightingale sacrifice before we can conduct the post-mortem?

my darling, you're going to break a heart of gold. love is never a sin, i will give you that. you can touch their silk skin or kiss their honeyed lips and i promise to you it will never be a sin. i'm just asking you to be more careful. i was down on my knees when Orpheus turned his head. i was wailing blood when Patroclus lift his spear. i was gasping for breath when Ariadne gave away her unbreakable string. surely, you would want to listen to someone who have lived an eternity of bone crushing betrayal and deception, would you?

it's about time you learn the faint line between love and blind devotion, otherwise your love would swallowed them whole. its about time you realize that nostalgia kills, or you will spend your live barring the unbearable heaviness of remembering. it's about time you stop turning friction to fictions and maybe you wont have to clutch on your chest to sleep. whimpering like a wounded dog. you're hurting your mother's heart.

my little lamb, who's so lost they start to wonder if they even want to be found. there's peace in an ordinary life. you are responsible of your own happiness. so have a heart and walk away. have a heart and leave what's belong to the past. it matters, my darling, your definition matters. whether it's going to be a passing wind or the heartbreak of a lifetime, everything goes back to your own perception. have a heart and pack your things up. it's a lonely road ahead so i'll kiss you goodbye. my child, do you know how much i care for you?

the card reshuffled, the deck resets.

"the fool one has came to offer their heart for a wing."

leave, before the darkness swallow your name.

leave, before it's harder to be brave.

i'll meet you there.

out beyond point zero.

up in the garden where everything beguiles.
